City Club's 173rd AGM

The annual business meeting was held in St Stephen's Church Hall on Thursday 23 May 2008. The club's finances had improved and ther had been new members joining. In the light of these circumstances, the costs of subscriptions were maintained at the previous year's levels. The increase in membership and promotion to Division 1 of the Worcester & District League means that an additional team would be entered into the Worcester & District League.

Officers were elected: Jim Keene, President; Steve Mellor, Secretary; Pat Greenow, Treasurer; Ray Collett, Captain of the County Division 1 side; Andy Farthing, captain of Worcester Bishops; and Roger Yates, Captain of the new Worcester Pawns side in Worcester & District Division 2 (for contact information for officers please click here).
