Further Information

One of the largest clubs associated with Worcestershire Chess Association, the club fields four teams in the Birmingham & District Chess league, three teams in the Leamington League and one in Division I of the Worcestershire Chess League. The club has off-road parking, lift and toilets for disabled users, bar facilities which also serve tea and coffee. The club organises two internal competitions each year one during the main season and one in the summer. Rob Reynolds was Olton Chess Club champion in 2015-6 and Paul Hodgskin won the Minor tournament. Phil Holt won the five-minute tournament. In 2015-6 Olton were Division II champions of Worcestershire Chess League. Member Karol Grzywaczewski was 2015-6 individual champion of Birmingham & District league Division 4.
