7 Apr. Worcester Pawns come to life with a 4 nil victory
6 Apr. Kidderminster Pawns, two matches in hand, win to maintain thir bid for top spot on match points but would have to ensure 4 nil victories to match Stourbridge.
29 Mar. Stourbridge beat bottom-of-table Greenlands and only Kidderminster Pawns can reach them
1 Mar. Worcester Pawns get their first match point with a draw against Mercia.
9 Feb. Stourbridge regain lead with a 4 nil victory over Redditch
4 Feb. Droitich leap over Stourbridge with a win against Worcester
2 Dec. Stourbridge go back into the lead with a win against Mercia.
30 Nov. Droitwich top the table with a 4 - 0 victory.
7 Oct. The first result is in.
4 Sep. Annual Meeting. Mercia Chess Club were admitted to the league and play in Division 2. Seven teams entered Division 2 and play a single match against each of the other teams.
